Olfasense UK Modern Slavery Statement
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Olfasense UK Ltd has a zero tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Olfasense UK Ltd has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.
Organisation Structure
Olfasense UK Ltd is an environmental consultancy which specialises in environmental odour management and operates from two offices, located in Bristol and Northwich. We offer a full range of environmental odour services and selected consumer product testing capabilities.
Both the Bristol and Northwich offices are equipped with UKAS-accredited olfactometry laboratories and we also offer a wide range of UKAS and MCERTS accredited emission testing services, which include odour, VOC characterisation, and biofilter monitoring.
We deliver a comprehensive range of high quality services to private and public sector clients across a diverse range of industrial sectors. We have extensive expert experience in the odour sector gained from over 20 years of operation, and our clients include many large national and international companies. The work of our consultants has directly influenced environmental policy for odour regulation at UK and European level, giving them a unique ability to help industries evaluate and solve various odour related problems.
In 2018 Olfasense UK Ltd had an annual income of £1.5 million and a maximum of 20 employees.
Supply Chains
Olfasense UK Ltd has over 100 suppliers across a wide range of sectors, including information technology and telecommunications, insurance, utility services, domestic and maintenance services, laboratory and analytic services, material and hardware suppliers, calibration laboratories, training providers, travel and accommodation, postal services, catering and certification bodies.
To date we have not found any evidence of slavery or human trafficking in our current supply chain. In future, as part of our procurement process, any potential contractor or supplier will be required to confirm that they comply with the Modern Slavery Act.
Our policies on slavery and human trafficking
Olfasense UK Ltd are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
In light of the obligation to report on measures to ensure that all parts of our business and supply chain are slavery free we have reviewed our workplace policies and procedures to assess their effectiveness in identifying and tackling modern slavery issues.
Our workplace policies and procedures demonstrate our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
