Meet Olfasense at the CHARPLAST in Valencia

On 28 – 29 September, the Spanish Plastics Technology Centre AIMPLAS will organize the CHARPLAST, an international seminar on plastic characterisation, bringing together professionals from different sectors of the plastics industry, academia, administration, and reference laboratories in Valencia, Spain.

The event focuses on innovation and trends in the characterization of plastic materials, covering topics such as advanced characterization techniques, food safety, as well as packaging and automotive quality control.

Our odour expert and senior consultant Rita Ribau Domingues will contribute a presentation about the importance of odour assessment in the packaging industry, showcasing its relevance to support product safety, sustainability efforts, and consumer satisfaction.

The presentation will include an overview of some of the most relevant standards for testing the sensory performance of packaging materials and the related sampling techniques and analytical tools. A number of interesting case studies will illustrate how these can be applied.
