Final programme – 2024 Odour Workshop on Product & Material Testing
The schedule for our 2024 Odour Workshop on Product & Material Testing is now finalized.
As previously announced, Corinna Kuhnert, perfumer and co-founder of Aloha Senses Perfumes, will take us on a journey into the world of fragrances in her session « High Quality Fragrances in Perfumery (from Aloha Senses Perfumes Atelier) ».
We are also delighted to welcome PD Dr Dietmar Krautwurst as this year’s keynote speaker. He is a project leader in the Taste & Odor Systems Reception research group at the Leibniz Institute of Food Systems Biology at the Technical University of Munich. In his keynote talk, « Key food odorants and their receptors – perfect matches for our complex sense of olfaction », he will briefly outline the principles of chemoreception and odorant detection, and give examples of the discovery of super-sensitive odorant receptors as potential tools for quality control and beyond.
We look very much forward to also welcoming you at our Olfasense laboratory facilities in Kiel, Germany, on 15 and 16 May 2024.
As the total number of participants is limited to ensure perfect conditions for in-depth communication, we encourage you to register now.
Our workshop offers a fantastic opportunity to hear from the leading specialists in odour testing, to meet with colleagues to discuss specific odour issues, and to benefit from practical sessions on specific odour measurement techniques in our laboratory facilities.
You will also have the unique opportunity to meet with our experts in one-to-one sessions on the afternoon of 16 May and morning of 17 May. If you are interested, please indicate this when completing the registration form.
Please forward this information to colleagues/contacts who may find it useful and let us know if you require any additional information.
Kind regards,
Your Olfasense team
