Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023

Our German director Björn Maxeiner is on a volunteering mission this week.

He is participating in the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 which are taking place from 17 to 25 June.

The Special Olympics World Games is the world’s largest inclusive sports event, welcoming around 7,000 athletes with intellectual and multiple disabilities from more than 190 nations.

Björn supports the Special Olympics Torch Run as a volunteer. The Special Olympics Flame of Hope™ has been lit on 7 June in Athens, Greece, and is currently travelling through Germany before arriving ceremoniously at the Opening Ceremony of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
