Olfasense lecture at German conference dealing with indoor air quality
From 30 May to 1 June 2023, the German Association for Water, Soil and Air Hygiene (WaBoLu) will organize a conference dealing with indoor air quality in cooperation with the Federal Environment Agency (UBA).
The conference programme includes topics such as testing strategies, measurement methods, odours / VOCs and air purifiers.
In a technical lecture, our VOC and odour expert Laura Brosig will present a project on “Odour detection thresholds of indoor pollutants”, which was carried out as part of a project commissioned by the Federal Environment Agency. In her lecture, she will go cover the following project elements:
- Determination of 20 odour threshold values of selected individual substances by means of olfactometry (EN 13725) and partly analytical methods (GC-MS).
- Determination of intensity characteristics and Weber-Fechner coefficients (VDI 3882-1)
- Determination of hedonic characteristics (VDI 3940-4)
Participation in the conference is possible on-site in Berlin and online. The registration deadline is 20 May 2023.
