2023 odour workshop on P&M testing again great success

On 10 and 11 May 2023, the Olfasense team welcomed a multi-disciplinary group of specialists from all over the world to present and share experiences relating to the field of odour testing, and to exchange future trends and needs.

The Olfasense team is sending out a big THANK YOU to everybody for their active participation in our 2023 odour workshop on product and material testing, making it an interesting and enjoyable event. We hope the workshop was an enriching and useful experience for all of you, and most importantly, that you all had a safe journey back home.

We dedicated two days to covering a wide spectrum of sensory and molecular analysis methods, showing the almost endless possibilities of product optimisation and material testing. The event was structured around a number of presentations from relevant specialists, and practical sessions on specific odour measurement techniques in our lab facilities.

Special thanks go to our guest speakers Professor Dr. Horst Hellbrück from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Lübeck and Dr. Aureli Soria-Frisch, Director of Neuroscience at Starlab Barcelona SL, who contributed two innovative talks on the application of artificial intelligence and neuroscience in the world of odour testing.
