Odour performance of detergents
Olfasense offers individually designed tests to evaluate the odour performance of your detergent products, with the final aim to know how the scent of the detergent itself, as well as the scent of the washed laundry, is perceived by consumers.
Our range of odour testing services includes:
- sensory analysis and comparison of detergents and the washed laundry using an expert and/or naïve consumer panel
- molecular analysis and comparison of detergents or raw materials using gas chromatography with ion-mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) or GC-Sniffing
- longevity testing
- testing the performance of detergents in reducing certain smells, such as sweat, in laundry
